Food pantry assistance is available by call-in registration Monday and Thursday between 9 - 2 pm by calling 231.946.4644. Prepared food bag are distributed by drive through.
COMMUNITY MEAL - MONDAY, WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY:
To-go Community Meal lunches are serviced Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 12 - 1 pm at the Emergency Disaster Truck in the parking lot at The Salvation Army Community Center, 1239 Barlow St. Traverse City.
COMMUNITY SHELF - MONDAY AND WEDNESDAY:
Perishable food is distributed Monday and Wednesday 12 - 1 pm at the large garage located behind The Salvation Army Community Center, 1239 Barlow St. in the alley.
EMERGENCY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Phone appointments for utility and emergency financial assistance are scheduled by our case management team. Please call 231-946-4644 during Community Center office hours - Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9 - 4 and Tuesday 9 - noon.

The Omena Village Preservation Association (OVPA) invites you to The Omena Garden Walk 2022! on June 30, 2022, from 11:00am- 4:00pm.
This lovely, fundraising event will take place, RAIN OR SHINE. in the quaint and picturesque village of Omena. Tickets cost $20 each.
Guests will tour seven (7) unique Omena Gardens which include the private gardens of several Omena residents. Waterfalls and ponds; arbors and pergolas; terracing and hardscaping; evergreen borders, and extensive arrays of perennials — all this and more will be on view.
Guests will be able to discover new ideas and even find inspiration for their own green spaces. Established in 2002, OVPA is celebrating its 20th Anniversary this summer with this incredible Omena Garden Walk 2022. Come enjoy the beautiful Gardens and help the Omena Village Preservation Association celebrate its 20TH ANNIVERSARY!
